Calling all fun-seeking, energetic BBQ lovers! Do you have what it takes to join the When Pigs Fly Volunteer Team and make the festival an All-American success? If your idea of volunteering includes smelling the aroma of lip-smacking barbeque, listening to non-stop music, and meeting the greatest BBQ lovers in North Carolina, then this is the job for you! Without the help of volunteers like YOU, When Pigs Fly would not go on. Our previous When Pigs Fly BBQ Festivals were huge successes, and we need your help to make this year’s festival BIGGER and BETTER!

How can you get involved?

The opportunities to volunteer are as diverse as the fun things there are to experience at the festival. There are areas to suit many talents, including ticket sales, operations, merchandise sales, parking, beverage services, volunteer check-in, sponsor tent, Kid Zone, and entertainment. We try to match each volunteer with a job that they feel comfortable performing, so please consider your physical limitations (ability to lift, standing for long periods of time, etc.) when choosing a volunteer area. If you need more detail on volunteer positions, please contact Lindsay Hall & Emma Bentham, Volunteer Coordinators, at wpfvolunteers@gmail.com. As a thank you, all volunteers will receive a t-shirt and free admission.
